MAINLAND UK DELIVERY CHARGES

Please see below for details of what defines mainland-UK.

For all orders we offer the following delivery services:

  1. Saver - normally 3-7 working days
  2. First - normally 1-3 working days
  3. Express - next-working-day
  4. Customer Collection
  5. BFPO (British Forces Post Office) - normally 2-3 working days

SAVER - FREE - 2nd class post

Saver delivery is our basic UK delivery service. We usually use 2nd class Royal Mail post. We aim to process your order within 1-2 days of receipt, and always process your order within 3 working days. 2nd class post normally takes 3-7 days but it is not guaranteed in this time. If you require your order by a certain date or to be tracked then we always advise the First or Express service. Saver delivery may require a signature on receipt of the goods, according to the weight and value of the order and the carrier used to send the goods.

We do not recommend that you choose Saver delivery if you are in any hurry for your goods.

Saver delivery times are in addition to any quoted lead time. Special order items may have a lead time of 1 week or more in addition to the delivery time. Please see individual products for details on lead times.

FIRST - £3.95 - 1st class post

With First Delivery we aim to process your order on the day of receipt, and always process your order within 1 working day. It will be sent 1st class post and normally takes 1-2 days but it is not guaranteed in this time. If you require your order by a certain date or to be tracked then we always advise the Express service. Express delivery items will always get priority on packing over First delivery. First delivery is prioritised over Saver delivery.

First delivery may require a signature on receipt of the goods, according to the weight and value of the order and the carrier used to send the goods.

First delivery is an optional additional service, and as such it is non-refundable in the event of an order being returned.

First delivery times are in addition to any quoted lead time. Special order items may have a lead time of 1 week or more in addition to the delivery time. Please see individual products for details on lead times.

EXPRESS - £7.95 - Next day

We offer an Express delivery service for more urgent orders. Express delivery guarantees priority order processing (orders must be received before 1pm to be guaranteed to be processed on the same day) and a guaranteed Next-Working-Day delivery (excludes Saturday and Sunday). It is also a trackable service. Express delivery will require a signature on receipt of the goods - you may find it easier to use a work address for delivery. Please note that some items are special order (i.e. non-stock) and will be subject to additional lead times.

This service will be a next-working day delivery, between 9am and to 6pm. This only guarantees the delivery service. All orders are still subject to the published lead times prior to despatch. It will also be subject to stock availability.

Note that orders must be placed before 1pm to ensure same-day despatch. Orders received after this time cannot be guaranteed to be processed the same day.

All Express deliveries will require a signature on receipt of goods. Please do not choose this service if you cannot guarantee this.

The delivery service used will vary according to the size/weight of goods and delivery address.

This service is not guaranteed to all UK addresses. Please see below for the definition of Mainland UK.

NEED IT EVEN MORE URGENTLY?

Please note that if you require a more urgent delivery than the Express service then we can offer Next-Business-Day timed services, and also the option of a same-day Central London service by Local Courier. Please call us if you want these services - they are no longer an option when buying online. Orders must be placed before 1pm to ensure same-day delivery. Please contact us for details.

CUSTOMER COLLECTION - FREE

If you would prefer to collect your order we do offer a collection service. Please make sure you have had confirmation from us that your order is available for collection, to avoid a wasted journey. We will contact you but you can email or call us if you need to know in a hurry. Orders may be collected between 10am and 5pm.

 

NON-MAINLAND UK DELIVERY CHARGES

BFPO - FREE

We are happy to deliver to BFPO (British Forces Postal Office) addresses. Select the BFPO delivery option when completing your shopping basket and provide full BFPO address details. Please note that we have a 2kg weight limit on all orders to BFPO, due to weight restrictions imposed by the Royal Mail, and we may reject any order over this limit prior to despatch. All shipments will be made by Royal Mail and are subject to their lead times. We cannot offer an Express BFPO delivery service.

General terms and conditions of delivery services

  • Mainland UK is defined as as anywhere with a UK postcode, excluding areas that include the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands and Northern Ireland and any other offshore UK address. These areas are referred to as 'non-mainland UK'.
  • We always aim to despatch orders on the day we receive them but cannot guarantee this on busy days. The only way to ensure same day order processing is to select Express delivery. With First delivery we aim to process the same day but it will not be prioritised for same-day processing.
  • We set a cut-off time for receiving orders of 1pm. Orders must be received by this time to be guaranteed to be included in the same days' order processing. Orders received after this time are not guaranteed for despatch, although we do our best to get all orders out as soon as possible.
  • All products quote an estimated lead time to despatch. Delivery times are in addition to lead times. This is particularly relevant for Artoz, Pollen, Opera and Lamy orders, some of which are non-stock items.
  • All dates quoted are 'working days' (i.e. Monday - Friday).
  • If we are out of stock of an item then we will let you know, either by e-mail or telephone.

We offer a simple 'no hassle returns' policy.

We hope that you will be happy with the goods that you have received. However, if for any reason you wish to return something you will need to follow the instructions below:

  •   It is your responsibility to return the item/s to us. Please ensure that all items are packaged carefully with special attention being paid to protecting the corners. We cannot refund items returned damaged due to poor packaging.
  •   Please enclose a reference to your order ID/invoice number, your name and please state a reason why you are returning the item. Also refer to any member of staff that you may have been in contact with regarding the return, if applicable.
  •   Please return the item/s to the address below:

  •   All items must be returned within 14 days from receipt.
  •   Business-to-business sales will have a re-stocking fee of 15% applied to all returns (not applicable to personal sales). We are unable to accept returns or issue refunds or credit for any bespoke or tailor-made orders (except in the case of damaged or faulty goods).
  •   Faulty goods can be returned for an exchange or refund. Please return them to the above address and enclose details of the fault or complaint and reference to your order id/invoice number.
  •   All refunds will be processed within 5 working days of receipt of the goods.
