Day 4 - March 4th 2013

We sell stationery. Not stationary as many people are so fond of writing. Stationery can get a bad name sometimes - a little bit boring, a little bit geeky. It's funny though how everyone loves stationery even if they try and pretend they don't. I remember my days working in a big office, when the Niceday delivery would arrive and people would casually wander over to the stationery cupboard to see what they 'needed'. It would be so much easier if we sold something sexy like, say, sports cars. So in a neat little twist, today's question manages to combine Ferrari cars with stationery.

Q: Which colour of ink did Enzo Ferrari insist on signing his name with?

A: Purple - see proof here

I'm with Enzo - purple is a lovely colour. Herbin's Pousserie de Lune, Diamine's Imperial Purple (or Amazing Amethyst for something more subtle) are all wonderful colours.
