Typewriters and time-machines
I came across this strange little story from the US, which is pushing at the edges of stationery, but I guess it struck a chord with me. Maybe it works with people of a certain age who remember a time when 'control-z' didn't fix everything. It's a wonder anyone managed to successfully type anything (I've already lost count of how many edits I've made typing this one paragraph!). It also reminds me a bit of the old pianos that people use in the middle of the concourse at St. Pancras station. A reminder of how easy technology has made life is no bad thing, like a time-machine on the pavement.
