A really great find and some interesting ... Read More
These exercise books are used throughout the French school system to teach children to write correctly. The idea of these books is to provide a framework on the page for children to form letters and writing. The lines and grids provide the structure into which the shape and height of letters can be learnt.ﾠThe pages are divided in to different sized 'boxes', similar to graph paper, so that children can learn to position their letters on the page. As they progress, the lines narrow so that by 9 years they should be able to use the standard seyes paper.
We have provided an idea of the ages at which each book should be used, together with a photograph showing the way children are typically instructed to write in each book. This is intended as a guide though and you may wish to use the books differently.
These books come in assorted colours (red, pink, green, yellow, turquoise and dark blue) and you can express a colour preference in the box below. We will do our best to provide your choice but it can prove difficult so please provide a second choice if possible.ﾠ

Hi, do the seyes stage 6 3796 books come in A4 size? I an looking for an A4 workbook for my daughter that will still give structure to her writing.
Bureau replies: Stage 6 does come in 'exercise books for nursery schools' version which is 170x220mm, but it only comes in packs of 20. Next stage is Seyes French grid and we have plenty of those to choose from. The cheapest single notebook is this one - perhaps it would be worth trying one..
