Limited Nickel Gray edition of the TWSBI 580AL Diamond fountain pen

Please note: stock is strictly limited, once they're gone - they're gone!

In this special edition TWSBI 580AL Diamond fountain pen, all the accented aluminium features are produced in the Nickel Gray colour, including the grip, connector and piston rod. The grip section has a new design, fine machined grooves that still feel smooth and comfortable yet giving a bit more purchase so your finger tips don't slip as much as previous models.

The TWSBI Diamond range brings along a faceted barrel, leading to the "diamond" name as it adds a more spectacular look. A sleek tapered pen cap ends with the TWSBI badge embedded as a jewel in the crown.

TWSBI make fountain pens for enthusiasts, tools are supplied for servicing your own pen. Beautifully made with a distinctive look brought to you from Taiwan.

No ink cartridges are required for the TWSBI 580AL Diamond, ink is drawn straight in to the clear barrel. The pen comes in a gift box with a special spanner and silicon grease so that you can disassemble the pen and maintain it yourself. A leaflet is provided with servicing instructions if required. This isn't required for a normal cleaning routine but if your pen requires a more thorough clean then these help to disassemble your pen.

Key features:

  • No cartridge needed, just use ink
  • Size 141mm closed, 176mm with cap posted
  • Special edition colour - stocks are limited
  • TWSBI "jewel" on cap end
  • Several nib widths available

How do the TWBSI nibs compare to Lamy for thickness. I usually use a Lamy fine and wondered if TWBSI fine is similar to Lamy.

Bureau replies.... I would say that the TWSBI is a little narrower, not a huge difference but definitely on the smaller side. If you use a Lamy fine nib though I would probably stick with that for TWSBI too.
