I have a messenger fountain pen (oldish German brand previously sold in U.K. at WH Smith) have been informed that damaine, herbin or waterman or international cartridges will fit! Which would you recommend. I am investing in some herbin ink, the compact set and the new plus (and probably some cartridges in various colours). Kind Regards

Bureau replies: Both Diamine and J Herbin are fantastic inks. I'd recommend going simply by the colour you like - that's always a good start :)
