About the artist
Born in Bulgaria and based in London, in her hypnotist imaginary the unnatural and the supernatural mix to create illustrations that feel somewhat spiritual and ritualistic. Geometrical colorful shapes, fanciful patterns and subtle and delicate textures make this particular portrait of Camden. She has worked for distinguished clients such as New York Times, V&A, Wrap Magazine and London College of Fashion.
Jam packed with punks, goths and tourists, Camden is an assault on the senses with its street traders, food stalls, markets, bars and live music and the atmosphere is busy and bustling. Camden Lock Market is based around a working canal and lock as well as a former horse hospital and the old stables are now market stalls. The area can be a bit of a labyrinth with the main food court reminiscent of scenes from Blade Runner. Away from the Lock is the serenity of Regents Park with its rose gardens and of course London Zoo.
