About the artist
It’s impossible not to fall in love with the beautiful sketchy brushstrokes and the playful multi-layered compositions of this great British artist. The map portraits a tropical and sweet vision of the popular and bustling area. Her clients include Barbican, Anorak Magazine, The New York Times, M&C Saatchi, Wrap Magazine, The Economist and Riposte.
Touted as the new Shoreditch, Peckham is definitely on the rise. Once one of the more alarming parts of London, it is now officially on the map, so to speak. The surprisingly named Bellenden Road is the centre of the more upmarket part and is full of gourmet grocers, good restaurants and boutique shops. Peckham Rye is home to London’s largest Nigerian community – Little Lagos, and its own micro brewery, vintage arcade and the Old Spike Roastery which helps the homeless off the streets by teaching them to make flat whites.
